Product Overview

A porcelain body with a handmade-look face: the surface is pressed and glazed to read like hand-formed tile, while the body keeps porcelain's low water absorption. That combination matters in showers and splashbacks, where a genuinely porous handmade tile needs sealing and a porcelain one does not.

Subway formats are laid in a running bond with a stated joint width. Shade and face vary between batches, so approve a physical sample and order the full room in one production run.

Installation and Maintenance

  • Fixing: Adhesive-fixed over a prepared substrate; 2–3 mm joint, movement joints at corners
  • Where not to use it: Interior walls and splashbacks; not for floors
  • Grout: keep the joint width constant across the wall; cementitious grout is standard, epoxy is worth the cost in showers and commercial kitchens.
  • Spares: keep one box from the same batch for repairs — a later run will be close, not identical.

Supply terms

Wholesale, OEM and export for this series

Wholesale supply

Cartons ship factory-direct. Mixed containers are normal: the minimum applies per line, and the quotation returns a loading plan before you book freight.

OEM customization

Glaze, format and packing can be adapted within the limits of the body. A change of surface is a development item; a change of carton print is not.

Packaging and export

Carton grade, pallet pattern, origin and batch labelling are agreed in the order confirmation and photographed at loading. FOB and CIF both quoted.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Petite Glossy Porcelain Subway Tile suitable for a shower wall?

Yes, on a waterproofed substrate. The porcelain body has low water absorption, but grout joints and the substrate are not a waterproof layer — tanking is a separate decision.

What joint width should I use with 48 × 235 mm tile?

2 mm reads modern, 3–5 mm reads period. What matters more than the number is keeping it constant — uneven joints are more visible than a slightly wide one.

Can I mix this series with others in one container?

Yes. Send the full mix with quantities and the destination port; the quotation comes back with a loading plan and any lines that do not fit.

Do you supply samples before an order?

Cut samples of current series are free; freight is quoted with the dispatch. Approve a physical sample for shade and face before committing a container.
